Du Lac Leman à la Mer Méditerranée en passant par les grands cols des Alpes.15 jours, 1011 km, 22000 D+Plus de 20 cols mythiques, l'itinéraire officiel s'étale sur un peu plus de 700km. Quelques détours expliquent le total à 1011km.La Route des Grandes Alpes traverse le Chablais, les Aravis, le Beaufortain, la Tarentaise et le Massif de la Vanoise, la Vallée de la Maurienne, le Briançonnais, le Queyras, le Vallée de l'Ubaye, le Mercantour, le haut pays Niçois pour finir sur la Côte d'Azur.

À éviter : 

Bien vérifier l'ouverture des cols. Ces paysages ne s'ofrrent aux cyclistes que le temps de quelques mois entre mi juin et mi octobre.
